How to clean The Mat
- Avoid all oil based cleaners as these will damage The Mat’s surface and affect the grip
technology. Do not use studio cleaners, as these often contain essential oils. - Never leave The Mat in a hot car or in direct sunlight.
- Always unroll The Mat after practice and let it air dry. It isn’t necessary to clean The Mat after every use, but never leave it rolled up when wet or sweaty.
- To clean, simply wipe down the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Dilute a splash of non-oil based soap in warm water to dampen cleaning cloth. Lay flat to air dry. Then roll up The Mat with the logo facing outwards to prevent creases.
- Hot yogis may want to clean their yoga mat more often.
